Rural India is home to 70% of India’s population. Yet, only 26 % of the GDP is generated by it. SourcePilani aims to restore rural India to its past glory and empower India’s villages.
SourcePilani is built upon the fact that around 130 million rural skilled workers are still unemployed due to lack of opportunities in rural India. SourcePilani strives to transform their lives by generating livelihoods and employment opportunities via its BPO services. The company is focused to provide specific BPO training to the rural people and facilitate their participation in the development of the village economy.
Each SourcePilani job generates as much revenue as 5 acres of land in Rajasthan. Such localized BPO employment helps these rural folk to upgrade the quality of their lives without destroying the cultural fabric of the society they live in. They are thus able to hone their skills, enhance their self-confidence and prestige without having to migrate to urban locations. This is the SourcePilani empowerment.
